Our First Class and Current Updates

Hello everyone!

Apologies for the delay. I meant to post right after the first class on Internet Safety, but it’s been quite the busy last few weeks. Between planning the wedding and starting summer semester, it feels like I haven’t had any free time.

Our First Class: Internet Safety for Seniors

We had our first class, Internet Safety for Seniors, at the local CRC in Pleasant Ridge and had about 15 students. It was such a good turnout! They were engaged and seemed to learn a thing or two about staying safe online. At the end, they let me know the class was easy to follow and very informative.

Updates

May was my busiest month so far in 2025, but June seems adamant about snatching the throne. We’ll see how this month shakes out, because so far school and other priorities have been taking up a lot of my time. I’m planning to take a break from Athena’s Tech temporarily while I focus on my other responsibilities, but only for June. July, my schedule should open up a little more and I hope to create training guides for both Smartphone Basics for iPhone and Android as well as Introduction to Facebook.

I think I may create a poll on the site to see what people want to see as a class. Hmmm…

Moving Forward

Keep an eye on the site and the Instagram for more updates on classes and anything else Athena’s Tech! I’m hoping to use this year to get everything reallyyyyyy together, because I graduate with my bachelor’s degree next year in May, so more time will free to use for nonprofit things around then. Excited to grow with the company!
